General
Stuart came to music as a player fairly late, learning from scratch about blah-de-blah !!... years ago, and continues to appreciate the art of music as one long (sometimes fraught!!) learning experience.
Stuart has been into rock and blues music for as long as he can remember, growing up initially on the likes of T.Rex, Slade, etc. and then into Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Santana, Eric Clapton, Thin Lizzy, Sex Pistols, Greenday, Motorhead, etc, etc, in fact most things except RAP/RnB, which positively piss him off.
Particular guitar heroes of Stuarts continue to be the likes of Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Steve Jones, Buddy Guy and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Stuart’s guitar style continues to evolve, but always exhibits a raw edginess which is delivered with his characteristic aggression.
Previous bands mainly included Rhythm Method, which naturally evolved from a scratch band thrown together for a charity gig. The line-up finally ended up as a five piece playing up-tempo covers of various genres, and still occasionally goes out when needed for a good knees-up!!
